Our ELA program supports students from early literacy through advanced high school analysis, with structured instruction in:

• Foundational ELA skills (Grades K–5) — phonics, fluency, decoding, main idea, inference, paragraph writing, grammar basics, NY State Exam Preparation (grades 3, 4, & 5), and vocabulary development

• Middle-school ELA (Grades 6–8) — close reading, theme analysis, multi-paragraph essays, citing evidence, advanced grammar, and NY State Exam preparation

• High-school ELA (Grades 9–12) — literary analysis, rhetorical writing, research essays, SAT Reading/Writing skills, and AP English Language preparation

Our science tutoring ranges from elementary basics to AP-level mastery, with focused support in:

• Elementary science (Grades K–5) — ecosystems, simple physics concepts, weather, earth materials, and the scientific method

• Middle-school science (Grades 6–8) — cells, genetics, atoms, chemical reactions, energy, earth systems, and foundational lab skills

• High-school science (Grades 9–12) — Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physics (Regents, Honors, AP), including stoichiometry, evolution, electricity, human body systems, lab reports, and exam-style practice

Our State Exam Prep program prepares students for the New York State ELA & Math tests using standards-based lessons and practice modeled on the real exam format. Students work on reading comprehension, multi-step problem-solving, grammar, writing, and analytical reasoning skills that directly improve their test performance.
